Immutable Infrastructure is a topic drawing large amount of attention, namely as a reliable, safe, and effective system architecture pattern to manage server infrastructure generally in cloud ecosystems. Using this concept along with blue-green deployments, a powerful and versatile paradigm opens paving the way for rapid and low-risk deployments with minimal human and infrastructure over-head.

Ruben has played a prominent role in several startup software companies, taking them from their early stages to leaders in their respective marketplaces. He has more than 15 years experience working in different roles that required leadership, strategic thinking, project management, development, devops and system administration. He is currently CTO at and member of the Advisory Panel of the CreativIT Sydney Innovation Hub at University of Sydney. When he is not among computers, you will find him doing Karate or Gliding.
