Tammy Butow is the Site Reliability Engineering Manager of the Databases team at Dropbox. She is an Australian living in San Francisco. Prior to working at Dropbox, Tammy's days were filled with cloud infrastructure at DigitalOcean in New York. Tammy first started using Linux in 2005 when her university professor encouraged her to install it on her personal computer for her MySQL Database elective subjects.
Tammy recently presented a 3 hour workshop at OSCON "Linux Bootcamp: from casual Linux user to kernel hacker".
